ALVIN ROBERT MURNER With heavy hearts and extreme sadness, we mourn the sudden loss of Alvin Robert Murner on Tuesday, December 4, 2007. Alvin will be missed by his wife of 49 years, Lillian; his son Rick (Sandra) and his two loving grandchildren, Dane and Breanna. He is also survived by his sisters and brother, Evelyn Rose (Henry), Wally (Sandy), Edith Parker (Wright), Dianne Ferris (Stan) and Charlotte Dyck (Gordon). Alvin was predeceased by his mom and dad, Marie and Adolf Murner. Alvin was born on September 25, 1935. He was only 22 years old when he joined the City of Winnipeg Fire Department in September, 1957. He proudly served the City for 37 years up until the time he retired in October, 1994. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him. We will be celebrating Alvin's life on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m., at the Masonic Memorial Temple, 420 Corydon at Osborne Street.
