RICHARD ADEY It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by his parents Agnes and Marmaduke, and his brother Ronald. Richard is survived by his loving wife Halina; children Michael (Debby) and Susan (Jeff); grandchildren, Kaitlin, Lisa and Mitchell; brother Gordon (Alice). He will also be missed by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Casey and Jim Foster; sister-in-law Norma Adey and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was employed in the general insurance industry for 44 years. His favourite place was the cottage at Brereton Lake and in recent years his winters spent in Mercedes, Texas golfing. Over the years he enjoyed hunting, fishing and snowmobiling with family and friends as well at attending horse shows and photographing his daughter showing her horse. In later years he enjoyed gardening and bird watching. Special thanks to wonderful friends who helped us and kept us going especially Ger and Jim Kuliuk, Diane and Lloyd McLaughlin, Al and Ellen Briscoe, Lou and Marlene Small and Richard and Lesley Small. Also a very special thank you to Maryanne for her love and care. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, donations may be made in Richard's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
