Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTILLIE DYCHUK Tillie Dychuk passed away suddenly on December 5, 2007 at her home at the age of 86. Tillie was born in Fraserwood on June 23, 1921. Her parents moved to the Benn homestead near Teulon. Tillie received her education at Stacpoole School. In earlier years, her career consisted of various jobs such, as housekeeper and a seamstress in a glove factory. When she returned back to the farm, Tillie met her husband Steven Dychuk and married in April of 1945. Steven and Tillie raised two children on the family farm a son Richard and daughter Dorothy. She worked at home on the farm and after Steven's death in September 1997, went to work at Charison's Turkey Hatchery. Tillie found pleasure in spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid bowler, gardener and enjoyed baking. She took great pride in the care of the animals on the farm. Tillie was predeceased by her husband Steven and daughter Dorothy, her parents Mike and Frances Benn, two brothers Johnny and Walter and two sisters, Mary Kwasney and Bernice Oehlers. She is survived by her son Richard, grandson Daniel, sister Helen Munro and brother and sister-in-law Merlin and Ruth Benn as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rockwood Centennial Hall. Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment to follow at Windsor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Arthritis Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
