Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAUGUSTINE WALKER It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother, in the early morning of Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the age of 92 years at the Eriksdale Personal Care Home. Augustine was born Marie Augustine Cheron on March 3, 1915 in St. Laurent, Manitoba. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary for Legion Branch 140. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, reading, tatting and quilting baby blankets for her family and friends. Augustine was predeceased by her husband James in 1969. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Mildred Leschyson, Lewis, Richard (Eileen), Kathleen (Clarence) Kallstrom, Malcolm (Bernice) and Patricia (John) Fjeldsted and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We would like to thank the staff at the care home for the kindness shown to Augustine while she was in their care. Cremation has taken place and a gathering of family and friends to remember and celebrate Augustine's life will take place on Sunday, December 9 at 1:30 p.m. at the Eriksdale Personal Care Home. A private family service will be held in the spring when she will be laid to rest with her husband. Flowers are gratefully declined in favour of a kind gesture to another person.
