Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARVEY ALEXANDER TYERMAN 1929 - 2007 It is will love, sorrow and a heavy heart that the family announces the passing of Harvey Tyerman on December 6, 2007. Dad was born July 10, 1929 in Carberry, MB to Darleen and Harold Tyerman. He was the older brother of Lloyd and Lillian. Harvey met his sweetheart, Betty in Brandon, MB and they were married October 16, 1948. Harvey and Betty with their family have resided in Stonewall since 1961. Dad looked forward to anytime that was spent with his family. His family was his most prized possession and accomplishment. Dad is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty, his sister Lil (Rick) and his sister-in-law Irene. His children Dorothy (Ken), David (Linda), Sharon (Lloyd), Pam (Todd), Rob (Jackie) and daughter-in-law Lori. Also surviving dad are his 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Mourning his loss also are brothers-in-law, George (Lorene), Don (Marion) and Jim (Doreen) and sisters-in-law Ruth and Jean. Dad was predeceased by his oldest son Wayne in 2004, his parents Harold and Darleen Tyerman, brother Lloyd, in-laws Ralph and Lily Burman and brothers-in-law Harry, Ernie, Art and Charlie and many very close friends. Dad's family would like to acknowledge some of his special friends, Don Holden, Bob Mann, Larry and Pat Corbin, Victor Giesbrecht, Ray Gluchi, Ed Woods, Gilbert Dupont and numerous others we have not mentioned. Dad was involved over the years with the Stonewall Kinsmen Club, Rocklands Antique Club, Stonewall Demolition Derby and The Stonewall Fire Department. The family would like to thank Dr. Ventor, all the staff at the Stonewall Hospital and Palliative Care for all the kindness given to Dad. We already miss you! Viewing will be held on Monday, December 10 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. A celebration of dad's life will be held Tuesday, December 11 at 1:00 p.m. also at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Stonewall. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Manitoba MS Society or Stonewall Palliative Care, P.O. Box 1282, Stonewall, MB R0C 2Z0.
