Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAURICE PIDSTAWKA After a lengthy illness, peacefully on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the Selkirk General Hospital Maurice passed away at the age of 80 years. He was predeceased by his wife Pauline; brother Frank and sister Jean. In loving memory he leaves behind his brother Charles; sisters, Mary, Joyce (Mike); nieces and nephews. Maurice was born and raised in Silver, MB where he resided most of his life. He was a man of honour and integrity, always ready to help anyone in need, his kind and gentle nature won him many friends and a place in the hearts of his family. He took pride in the many roles he took upon himself to serve in his church and his community. He enjoyed socializing with friends at Bingo and over coffee at Arborg. He always looked forward to visits from his nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave. on Monday, December 10 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM officiating. Interment will take place at St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Silver, MB. Flowers are gratefully declined, if you wish donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
