A golden heart stopped beating, Two hardworking hands are still, There's a special place within our hearts, That no one can ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, Dad, You fought so hard to stay, The love and respect we feel for you Will never fade away. The years we spent together Are worth their weight in gold, The joy and laughter that we shared Are ours to have and hold. Dad, our love and admiration for you is eternal, just like the bond that holds us together. Blessed be the day that we are reunited.
