DAVID AKIRA MURATA Peacefully grew his wings on December 5, 2007 at St. Peters Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. Born August 9, 1935 in Vancouver BC. Dave is predeceased by his parents, Irene and Kaichi Asae; half-brother Roy (Nancy) and half-sister Nellie (George). Dave is older brother to Ken (Jean), and half-brother to Hardy (Sue). Dave's legacy of dignity, generosity, and quiet strength carries on through his three children Brian, Dianne (Robb), Janet, and his grandchildren Akira and Kirin who will miss their grandpa very much. A special thanks to the staff on 2 West at St. Peters, as well as those at St. Joseph's and the Juravinsky Cancer Center for providing Dave with such compassionate care and comfort over the last several months.
