MILDRED BERNICE SPEER January 2, 1958 - December 5, 2007 Mildred was predeceased by her father James (1998) and her beloved mother Vera (2006). She is survived by her sister Margaret (Fred), niece Megan and nephew James Haight. Mildred leaves to celebrate her memory many friends and acquaintances from her various interest groups including the Horticultural Society, the Sons of Scotland, the Winnipeg Folk Festival, the Irish Association, the Winnipeg Children's Festival and several science fiction clubs. Millie's passions also included knitting and animals. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Cremation has occurred. A memorial service will be held at Transcona Funeral Chapel on Friday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m.
