Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHILDA IRENE ADLARD Hilda was born to Daisy and John Bond in Broadview, Saskatchewan July 4, 1918, and left us on December 8, 2007. Predeceased by her parents, sister Grace Bailey, and brothers Ken and Wilf Bond. Hilda passed suddenly but peacefully with loved ones at her side at the St. Boniface Hospital. She will be deeply missed by Glenn, her husband of 67 years; sons, Tom (Leslie), Rob (Pauline), Neal (Cheryl); grandchildren, Karen, Jeff, Jaladriel, Daegan, Brodin, Hailey and Caitlin; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Abby, Evan, Meado, Violet, and many nieces and nephews. Born in Broadview, Saskatchewan, she lived most of her life in Winnipeg. Hilda had many enjoyments in life, including golf, bridge, art, ballet, sewing, knitting and crocheting, winter trips to Arizona, and later Victoria, and many summers at the lake. Hilda was a giving person and extremely proud of her family and her volunteer efforts at Victoria Hospital and Chown Guild. Our sincere thanks to the kind folks at Pembina Place Mennonite Personal Care Home who took good care of Hilda during her stay there. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada, or a charity of choice. A memorial service will on Friday, December 14 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home. A private family interment will take place.
