GARRY ANDREW SKOLNY March 20, 1945 - December 9, 2007 With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Garry Skolny at Concordia Hospital at 62 years of age. Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife Danute, daughter Carrie (Mike), grandchildren, Gabrielle and Domenic, brothers, Ken (Dee) and Terry (Norma) as well as his nieces and mother-in-law Ona Demereckas. Garry worked for Canada Post for 33 years retiring at 50 years of age. Never to be retired, he started his own businesses, The Lawn Barbers and Luv a Lawn . Dad loved fishing, hunting and flying. He especially enjoyed special times with family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Garry's life will be held Thursday, December 13 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations in Garry's memory may be made to the Liver Foundation of Manitoba.
