RONALD JOHN BEAUDIN ( LE PETIT RONALD ) ( FRENCHY ) July 29, 1946 December 9, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished husband, father and grandfather, Ronald Beaudin, on December 9, 2007 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Ron leaves to mourn and cherish his memory his loving wife, Michelle, daughter, Serena and Kevin and fabulous grandson, Gus; his sister Georgette and brother Roland, nieces, nephews and treasured friends, especially his buddies, Toby, Minmin and Martin who kept watch. Ron is predeceased by his daughter Shauna, brother Paul, sister Cecile, mother Alvina Beaudin Moreau, father Wilfred Moreau, second Mom and Dad, John and Frances Lubilaneki, and various aunts, uncles and cousins. Ron was born in St. Eustache and raised by a wonderful Mom and Dad, making their home in St. Boniface and later Transcona. He had worked at different jobs in his 20s, working at Griffen Steel ( too hot ! )and then found employment at Versa Cold for 30 years, this January. Ron loved when it was freezing in the winter, because the rest of us could appreciate how he felt everyday. Ron met Michelle at the O.G. in 1967, and they were married September 9, 1972 and had just celebrated their 35th Wedding Anniversary. Ron and Michelle had their first daughter, Serena in 1977 and Ron was so excited about this tiny, beautiful wonder. In 1980, Shauna was born very sick, but as Ron always said, Shauna was an angel of God, which brought us all closer. Ron enjoyed his music and dancing, the Westburne Xmas parties were the hit of the year. Always a very quiet gentleman, Ron loved his family with all of his heart. He was the great and only love for Michelle, her soulman, and life will never be the same. Our sense of just knowing we were in the same room was enough for us, no words were needed. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 710 Roanoke Street, with Father Owen Steeves presiding. Interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery, beside his beloved Shauna. Rest in the arms of the angels That were with us all week That guided you up to God. Forever loved, deeply cherished, And never forgotten. You will suffer no more And feel the rays of God's love on your face. I will see you as a new star. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
