Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGABRIEL (GIBBIE) MARMONIER It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather on December 9, 2007, at the age of 82 years, at his residence. Gabriel leaves to mourn his passing his daughter Linda (Doug); sons, Brian (Val), Larry and Glenn all of Gunton; stepdaughter Mary (Glenn) of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Rhonda (Jeff S.), Jeff (Ashley), Jolene and Shawn (Sam), Leann; great-granddaughter Emily. He is survived by brother-in-law Bill Forbes of Winnipeg. Dad was predeceased by his wife Evelyn of 47 years, his mother Mary and father Emil; his sisters, Lucienne, Adrienne, Helen and Denise. Prayers will be held Wednesday, December 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Teulon. Funeral service and lunch will be held Thursday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gunton Hall with Rev. Patricia Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Windsor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Shawn Cook, Jeff Marmonier, Jeff Stasiuk, nephew Les Forbes and neighbours Jim Mott and Bruce Burton. His family and friends should all be considered his honorary pallbearers. We also like to thank the ambulance attendants, nurses and doctor for their help. Dad treasured his family, many friends and loved visiting over a cup of tea and a card game. He could always be found working in his field or restoring another DC-4 tractor. In lieu of flowers, if family and friends desire a memorial tribute may be made to the Teulon United Church. When you think of me, smile! I'll be smiling then too. And I'll smile All the while When I'm thinking of you. MacKenzie Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
