Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALLAN CHEK YIN LAM Allan was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, March 17, 1978 where he grew up, and moved to Burnaby, British Columbia in 1992, where he passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2007. He is survived by his mother Angie, his older brother Leonard, his sister-in-law Amy, his younger brother Mitchell and his girlfriend Jennifer. He was predeceased by his father Harvey. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from UBC, and was currently an apprentice working his way to being an Electrician by trade. He left an impression with everyone he met. He will be remembered for his sense of humor which brought smiles to many faces. He lived each day of his life to the fullest with a caring and passionate nature. It was not difficult to see why he was surrounded by many who loved him. He enjoyed sports, work, and music. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered. A viewing will be held on December 12 at 7:00 p.m., and funeral services will be held on December 13, 2007 at Forest Lawn, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC at 2:00 p.m.

It's not quite been two months since you've been gone Allan. There isn't a day that goes by that I do not remember you and sadly wish you were still here. I often think of your quirky sense of humour and remembering it automatically brings a moment of happiness to my day. I hope you are able to see from above just how many people appreciated you and also know now just how many lives you touched.
