DOUGLAS A. GRAY May 12, 1955 December 8, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Doug at the age of 52. He was predeceased by his mother Marie, father Ken and younger brother Jeff. Doug leaves behind his sisters, Cathy McLachlan (Bill) and Pat Gray, niece Meghann, nephew Matt, great-niece Desirae, great-nephews Shayden and Kaidence as well as his Uncle Kevin and many cousins. Doug possessed a brilliant mind and could talk knowledgeably about any subject. He was an avid reader - everything from National Geographics to Quantum Physics and he actually understood it all. Doug was a gentle spirit; a man who never said anything bad about anyone. He went through life quietly, in his kind and passive manner. Doug was always content. He was satisfied with the simple things in life. He never wanted more than what he had and was most appreciative of the small kindnesses many of us would take for granted. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank Frank and Maria Hochel who have been such great friends to Doug over the years. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. Doug will be interred with his Mom, at a later date.
