Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES ROBERT (BOB) BLYTH April 3, 1948 - December 10, 2007 After a lengthy struggle with MS, we sadly announce the passing of Bob Blyth on December 10, 2007 at the Tache Nursing Centre. Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Ida and son Bill. Bob leaves to mourn his daughter Caitlin (Jason), sister Maureen, twin sister Cheryl (Rick), as well as niece Carly and nephew Russell. Bob spent all his summers at Grand Beach. He attended University of Manitoba and graduated with a degree in civil engineering, along with long time friends from West Kildonan. After his graduation, Bob proudly worked for CNR in Northern Ontario, Northern Quebec, Brazil, and Winnipeg until his illness forced early retirement. Bob will always be remembered for his commitment to his family, love of working on fast cars and the family cat Pudger. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 14, 2007 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with interment following in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to send a special thank you to his companion Susan, the staff at 4DE at Tache Nursing Centre and especially to those who made Bob feel special.
