During his retirement years and after Mena's death, he enjoyed cooking, entertaining, and being an active part of his grandchildren's lives. Hugh was very social and quick-witted, even to the end. He will be remembered as an excellent organizer both socially and on many committees. St. Ignatius and the Catholic Church were an important and integral part of his life. In later years, he especially enjoyed the friendship of the Chicken Delight Ministry'. The family wishes to thank the 5th floor staff at the Victoria Hospital for their kindness and care.
