LILLIAN JOSEPHINE VINCENT October 12, 1914 - December 12, 2007 With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Aunt Lillian Josephine Vincent with her nieces by her side at Rosewood Lodge, Stonewall. Lillian was born on October 12, 1914 to Sam and Birdie Vincent. She is survived by one sister Harriet Ryckman of Fergus, ON and nieces and nephews Don Good of Strathmore, AB, Kitty Stewart and Mary Ann Pull of Stonewall, Jack Good of Chilliwack, BC, Enid Coburn of Stony Mountain, Gloria Ackland of Winview, BC, Janet Hanly of Winnipeg, Tannis Broderick of Fergus, ON, Vincent Gibson of Winnipeg and Bill Gibson of Parksville, BC, and numerous nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by her parents, four sisters and brothers-in-law, Florence Gibson (Charlie), Evelyn Good (John), Margaret Kerr-Wilson (Bob) and Irene Vincent, Jim Ryckman and several nieces and nephews. Lillian was born and raised in the Victoria District. Lillian and sister Irene farmed with their Dad until they moved to Winnipeg. Lillian worked for Brown and Murray then Duhaul Printing until retiring in 1979. Lillian was a fun-loving person, loved to travel, dance, watch hockey and football and she loved a shot of Scotch. Lillian loved the staff and nurses at Rosewood Lodge and they loved her. Lillian was a life member of the Eastern Star. She had many friends wherever she went. Lillian was also a lifelong member of the All Saints Victoria Anglican Church. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 15 at 11:00 a.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Interment will follow at All Saints Victoria Cemetery. If friends so desire donations can be made to All Saints Victoria Anglican Church, Box 550, Stonewall, MB, R0C 2Z0 or a charity of choice.
