PATRICIA (PAT) GAIL LEE (nee MULCAHY) Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, December 11 2007, Pat at the age of 58 years, left the ones she loved. Remaining to forever cherish Pat's memory are her beloved husband of 36 years of marriage, Allen; sons, Trevor (Kalinda) and Christopher (Kristine); her parents, Ernest and Therese; sister Diane (Robert); brothers, David, and Brian (Joan); mother in-law Bernice (d. Horace); brothers-in-law, Murray (Donna), Bruce, Marvin (Barbara); sisters-in-law, Brenda, Dixie (Bill), Merle, and Noreen (Tim); as well as many nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Born in Barrie, ON Pat travelled to many parts of the world as a daughter of a military family. They settled in Winnipeg where Pat met her future husband, Allen and raised her family. She dedicated her life to the health profession as an LPN and then RN working at many care facilities throughout Winnipeg, and finally at the Grace Hospital. Pat's life was built around her faith, from being an active member of her Church community, to her many hours given to volunteering and assisting all those that needed her. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 14 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Paul The Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Mark Tarrant, presiding. A private family entombment will be held in the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Health Sciences Centre GD6, and CancerCare Manitoba and with special thanks by the family to Pat's cousin Lori. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pat's memory to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation Inc, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 0V9.
