AGNES LAWSON McDOWELL 1916 - 2007 (nee McGREGOR) After a long courageous battle with cancer Agnes McDowell passed away December 5 at the age of 91, with her family by her side. Agnes leaves to mourn her beloved husband Art of 68 years; son Donald; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Tom. Her great love was the cottage at Grand Beach where she spent her summers growing up and raised her family. She will be remembered by all her curling friends at Fort Rouge where she was President and life member of the ladies and turned the sod with Bill Walsh for the new rink. She Lawn Bowled for many years at River Heights and down in California in the winters, representing Manitoba on a number of occasions. The family would like to thank the staff at Misericordia Place for their kind and caring support. A private family service was held. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
