MAUREEN KATHLEEN CLARKE (O'MALLEY) Maureen passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 13, 2007. Born in Winnipeg on December 25, 1923, she was predeceased by her parents Annie and Creighton, her beloved husband Jack and her sister May O'Malley. She is survived by her brother John and wife Betty, nieces Tricia and Wendy and nephew Brian. Maureen grew up on Jubilee Avenue, and following in her fathers footsteps, enjoyed a long career in the insurance industry. Shortly after her retirement Maureen married the love of her life Jack, and together built a home in East St. Paul. Maureen took great pride in her home and enjoyed friends made there immensely. For the last few years Maureen resided at Thorvaldson Care Centre where she received capable, compassionate and respectful care. There will be no formal service, and a private interment will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
