FRIEDA BETTY EILEEN GIROUARD (nee BEAUDRY) January 22, 1930 - December 11, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother (Nanny) at the Concordia Hospital on December 11 at the age of 77 years. Mom will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughter Angie (Robert); her son Roger, Karel, whom she loved like a daughter; half-sister Jennifer; brother-in-law Elie; sister-in-law Jessie; her treasured grandchildren, Anthony, Samantha, Andrew and Alicia; as well as many nieces, nephews and very special friends. Frieda was predeceased by her mother Lillian; father Wilfred; stepmother Pearl; her brother Robert (Bob); sisters, Betty and Irene and her loving son David. Although our hearts ache with sadness that our loving Mother no longer walks along side us on our continued journey, we can find peace and comfort in knowing that the loved ones she has spent a lifetime missing have joined our Lord at the gates of Heaven to welcome home his daughter with open loving arms. Mom, please watch over your family and help us to fill our hearts and minds with only fond memories until the day we are together again. We love and miss you. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Interment to follow at the Transcona Cemetery.
