Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHEILA JANE REID Sheila Jane Reid passed away peacefully on December 11, 2007, at Riverview Health Centre after a determined and spirited battle with cancer. Sheila was born November 11, 1935, in Winnipeg to Ernest and Sarah (Sadie) Mackenzie. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Kenneth and Donald, and former husband John. She will be deeply missed by brother Ross (Audrey) Mackenzie; children, Laurie Hofferber, Sandra Reid, and Donald Reid; grandchildren, Meghan Reid, Jeremy Hofferber, Katie (Nick) Ohland, Jenny Hofferber; great-grandchildren, Lilly Ohland, Ethan Hofferber; nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends. Two of Sheila's proudest accomplishments were her 25 years as a devoted employee at New Directions, and receiving her medallion for achieving 25 years of sobriety. Special thanks to the caring doctors, nurses and aides at CancerCare Manitoba and Riverview Health Center. A memorial service to share remembrances will be held at 3:00 Monday, December 17, at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue, Aubrey Street entrance.
