LEONNE LANDRY (nee DESAULNIERS) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, auntie, sister, and cousin, at the age of 91 years, on December 13, 2007. Leonne was predeceased by her spouse Louis, her parents and nine brothers. She is survived by her children, Carmelle Bestland (Arthur deceased), Simone Prince (Dave deceased), Jackie Swain (Murray), Guy Landry (Teri Wylde), Luce Carrico (Brian), and Estelle Bernier (Fred). Also leaving behind 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren whom she loved unconditionally. She is also survived by her sister, Yvonne Jutras, and brothers, Emile and Victor Desaulniers. Leonne was born in St. Pierre Jolys on December 8, 1916 and after helping to raise her brothers and sisters, married Louis and lived as a farmer's wife on a farm located on St. Mary's Road, near Morris, MB. After raising six children, she changed careers and became a bartender at Burke's in the town of Morris, MB. She later moved back to St. Pierre Jolys. She enjoyed a long and happy life always surrounded by her loving family. A heartfelt thank you to those who have sustained us through this time. We love you mom and deeply miss you. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at the St. Pierre Jolys Catholic Church in St. Pierre, MB. Interment of her ashes will follow at a later date.   • To the Landry family our heartfelt sympathy. We have many wonderful memories of Leonne while we were the owners of Burke's. She was a loyal, devoted and wonderful employee.
