ORA EVELYN MAGILL Peacefully on December 11. 2007 0ra passed away at the Convalescent Home, Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 94. Ora was born February 9, 1913 in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba. Ora lived a great part of her life in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jack; her parents Andrew and Janet Wood; Jack's parents John and Sarah Magill; her brother Roy, and brothers-in-law Dick and Ralph. Ora is survived by her sister Mary Haldane; son Brian (Doreen); daughter Joan (David) Strong; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Also by her sisters-in-law Rosemarie Wood and Irene (Quenton) Louden as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Ora enjoyed working at Woolworths Department store for over 30 years. Ora and Jack were long time Summer residents in Grand Marais. Cremation has taken place, there will be a Celebration of her life in Grand Marais, Manitoba in the summer of 2008. Many thanks to the wonderful staff of the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for the loving care. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
