Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET CAMPBELL (nee MCLEOD) Peacefully, on Friday, December 14, 2007 Margaret Campbell, aged 87 of Selkirk passed away at the Selkirk General Hospital. She will be loving remembered by daughters, Linda and Isabel; son-in-law Walter Mirosh; grandchildren, Karina (Glenn) Barr, David (Vernelle) Mirosh; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Lydia Barr, Kaley Malbranck and great-great-grandson Spencer. She is survived by one sister Florence Youngman, of Kelowna BC. She was predeceased by her dear husband John in 197; brothers, Archie and Graham and sisters, Blythe, Kaye and Iris. Born in Selkirk in 1920 Mom spent most of her life there. She married Dad in 1939 and in 1941 moved to a home in Selkirk where she would live for 66 years. Their little house was always open to friends and family. There was always coffee in the pot and goodies on the table. Mom was a talented knitter, baker and crafter. She loved entertaining and enjoyed the gatherings held in her home. She usually had a poem or song composed for each occasion. Mom was a long time member of Knox Presbyterian Church and the Ladies' Guild. Her work experiences included several years at Eatons Order Office and later at the Met. The friendships made there lasted for the rest of her life. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Knox Presbyterian Church, 341 Eveline St. Selkirk with Rev. George Shillington officiating. Private family interment will follow at St. Clements Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Drs. Demsas and Lindenschmidt, homecare workers, Diana, Gail, Deanne and Val, the EMS staff, especially Alex, Corrie Corrigal and the staff at SGH. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Margaret's memory to the Knox Presbyterian Memorial Fund, 341 Eveline St. Selkirk, MB, R1A 1N1 or to a charity of your choice.
