NORMAN LEE Norman Lee passed away on December 12, 2007 at the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, MB at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Lillian and daughter Linda (Darryl); stepchildren, Brenda (Terry), Carolyn (Craig), Donny (Joy), Melvel (Marie), Marilyn (John), Shirley (Jim); 14 grandchildren, Noah, Jenna (Michael), Mandy (Nelson), Jeremy (Kyla), Ken (Jennifer), Tannis (Trent), Jackie (Scott), Brendon (Cherrise), Ashleigh (Brad), Kerry (Randy), Jonathan, Donovan (Lesley), April (Al), Angela (Mike); 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews along with numerous family and friends. Norman was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Isabella, brothers Watson and Matthew and sister Janet. Norman was born March 3, 1924 on the homestead in Scotch Bay where he continued to live. He married Lillian in 1969 and they farmed until the late nineties. He was a man of few words and loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially the teasing and taking them for rides on the Putt Putt (Massy Ferguson). He had a wonderful sense of humour, even until the end. We would like to thank the staff of the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital for the loving care during his short stay. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at the Eriksdale Recreational Centre with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Following the service, a luncheon will be served. Interment to follow at a later date at the St. Cuthbert's Cemetery (Lily Bay). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the E. M. Crowe Memorial Guild, c/o Irene Sigurdson, PO Box 474, Eriksdale MB, R0C 0W0 or CancerCare, 675 McDermot Avenue, Room ON 1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
