ELSE REMPEL (nee RIEMLAND) It is with deepest sorrow that the family of Else Rempel announces her passing on December 13, 2007 at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 69. Else will be forever loved and remembered by her husband of 50 years Peter, her daughters Gisela and Astrid (John), grandsons, Jared and Adam. Else is survived by her brothers, Victor (Kathy), Albert (Tina) both of St. Catharines, Ontario, Woldemar of Stockton, California. Left to mourn are her in-laws, Henry (Mary), Frank (Helen) and Elizebeth (Peter) as well a many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Helen and David. Else was a devoted wife, mother and Oma. She was supportive and caring. Else enjoyed spending time with her family at home and at the lake. For those that wish, a donation to the Concordia Foundation may be made. A private memorial service was held on December 17, 2007 at Friends Funeral Services.
