JOHN FERGUSON MYERS-MCINNIS April 14, 1940 December 13, 2007 John went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on December 13, 2007. He passed away suddenly, with no warning. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. Matthew 24:36 John is survived by his loving wife, Maxine McInnis, stepsons, Ernie of Winnipeg and Shawn (Shelley) and his granddaughters, Kayla and Amelia of South Port, England, son John Myers Jr. (Ashley) and grandson Jack, daughter Jennifer Myers as well as many others within the Myers family. John is remembered with fondness by his friends who knew him to be a kind and generous person who loved the Lord. A memorial service in celebration of John's life will be held Thursday, December 20 at 6:30 p.m., at the Church of the Living Hope, 235 Enniskillen Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society or a charity of one's choice. JOHN WAS MY BROTHER, HE WAS 13 YRS. OLDER THAN ME. I DON'T KNOW HIS LIFE IN THE 13 YRS. PREVIOUS TO ME, BUT I REMEMBER A LOT IN THE 5, 6 YRS. THAT MY BROTHER WAS IN MY LIFE. AFTER THAT IT WAS EVERY NOW AND THEN WHEN I SAW HIM. HE CAME TO OUR FATHER'S FUNERAL IN 1989, THEN I NEVER SAW HIM FOR 13 YRS. THEN IN 2001 WE WERE TOGETHER FOR 3 OR 4 DAYS AND WE HAD FUN. THEN WE SAID GOODBYE. HE NEVER LIKED MY HUSBAND AND THEN AN ISSUE DEVELOPED AND THAT STRAINED OUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE FINISH..I WAS GOING TO CONTACT HIM ON HIS 74TH BIRTHDAY, THINKING HE WAS STILL ALIVE, INSTEAD I FOUND HIS OBITUARY, LEARNING THAT MY BROTHER HAD PASSED AWAY DEC. 13 2007. 6 AND A HALF YRS. HE IS DEAD, BUT I BELIEVE HE IS STILL LIVING. HOPING IF THE DAY COMES THAT EITHER OF US DIES THE OTHER ONE WOULD BE TOLD..THAT NEVER HAPPENED. RIP MY BROTHER.
