Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT VICTOR BENNETT In the early hours of December 16, 2007 Robert Victor Bennett passed away peacefully in Nanaimo, BC. He was born in Dauphin, Manitoba October 1, 1916 and is predeceased by his beloved wife Helen. Victor distinguished himself with bravery and valour serving with the 17th Field Regiment of the 5th Canadian Armoured division during the Second World War in Italy and Holland. After returning from the war he lived in Vancouver working hard with Jersey Farms and later with Silverwoods Dairy. There he became a good husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his sons William and Ronald, his granddaughter Alessandra, sisters Audrey, Eileen, Doris and Joan. To all who knew Victor he was always there to lend a hand, loved to fish and loved his wine. We will all miss his humour, his laugh, his good nature and his support. Sands - Nanaimo
