TINA FUNK 1921 2007 Tina Funk of Winnipeg passed away peacefully at Vista Park Lodge on December 16, 2007 at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her children, Nela (Abe Giesbrecht) of Winnipeg, John (Marie) of Kleefled, Maria (John Enns) of Grunthal, Ben of Winnipeg, Jake (Wendy) of Winnipeg, Abe (Norene) of Winnipeg, Kelly (Dennis King) of Winnipeg, Elvi (Glen Hildebrand) of Winnipeg and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Peter M. Funk, one son in infancy, one granddaughter and eight siblings. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach on Thursday, December 20 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Friday, December 21 at 2:00 p.m. with interment at the Grunthal Cemetery. I don't know if any of you will remember me from 1973 when I stayed in your home, I was close with Jake, Abe and Elvi and remember meeting John and Mary in Grunthal one time. Your mom and dad were always very nice to me and having lost my mom a couple of years ago I know this is a hard time for all of you but I'm sure your mom is at peace with family members that went before her.
