ADELINE PATRICIA ZOPPA It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Adeline Zoppa on Sunday, December 16, 2007 at the Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 69 years. Adeline was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Caroline Zoppa, her sister-in-law Beverly and nephew Quentin, and niece Christy Kunzman's husband Jeff. Left to mourn her passing are her four brothers: Alvin and his daughter Liana (Warren) Zamko; Albert (Alma) and their sons Ken (Joanne) and Jamie (Norma-Anne); Norman (Anne) and their daughters Christy Kunzman and Jackie (fiancé Patrick Sabourin) and sons Jordan (Elizabeth) and Robert (Anne); Dennis (Barbara) and their sons Kristofer and Darren. She is also survived by seven great-nieces and four great-nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts. In her youth Adeline worked at the Winnipeg Free Press as a clerk. She then worked for a number of years at Gerard Kennedy as a secretary, and for 24 years as Office Manager at J. R. Wire and Metal from which she retired in 1996. Adeline was a gentle, compassionate, generous and gregarious person who enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, her weekly activities at the Gwen Secter Centre, and many conversations over many coffees. Addie also enjoyed shopping trips with Anne McNaughton, her good friend for 40 years. Adeline will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Fr. Raphael Glofcheski officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
