He will be fondly remembered by his family, friends and neighbours as a man who was kind and loving to all. When the war ended he returned to McDonald Brothers, which later became Bristol Aerospace. His 46.5 year career included work as a machinist, lead hand, and tool planner. At work Eugene was known for his problem-solving abilities. At the end of his Bristol career he worked on the setup and programming of computer-controlled machining technology and processes. Eugene and his family attended Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church for many years. In later years they attended Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church.
