ANNIE MANDRYK It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of Annie Mandryk on December 17, 2007 at the Health Sciences Centre. Annie is survived by her daughters, Mary (Carl) Starodub of Winnipeg, Victoria (Bert) Keryluk of Courtney, BC, Jean (Matt) Baydock of Winnipeg; sons, John (Linda) of Shornecliffe, Willie (Vera) of Weslaco, TX; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Palka, Rose Palka of Winnipeg. Annie was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1989, brother Mike in 1979, sister Polly Petrachek (Oster) in 2000. Annie was born in Riverton, MB on October 17, 1915. She married Jack in 1934. They farmed in Shornecliffe for many years and moved to Arborg, MB in 1973. She travelled in Canada, United States and the Ukraine. She and her husband were one of the founding members of the Arborg Senior Centre and she was the President of the Ukrainian Catholic Ladies Aid. The family expresses many thanks to the medical and nursing staff at the Arborg Hospital. Prayers will be held on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 22 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel. Rev. Father Harry Chuckry will officiate. In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to the Arborg and District Health Centre, Box 10, Arborg, MB R0C 0A0. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
