SHIRLEY JOYCE KALYNIUK (WANAMAKER) September 19, 1942 - December 17, 2007 Peacefully on December 17, 2007 at the age of 65, our beloved Wife, Mother and Baba passed away at Concordia Hospital. Shirley is survived by her husband Edward of 38 years; mother Jean; sons, Dale (Lori) and Darren (Chantel); grandchildren, Cameron, Carter, and Madison; sister-in-law Carol and numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her father Joseph Wanamaker and brother Ken. Shirley was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Shirley enjoyed her weekend getaways in the motor home with her family, listening and dancing to her favourite music, and helping friends and family preparing food for special events. More recently Shirley's time was spent closer to home. She particularly enjoyed listening to Ed play the fiddle and baking and doing arts and crafts with her grandchildren. A gathering in her memory will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street on Friday, December 21 at 10:00 a.m. A private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Shirley's name to the Manitoba Lung Association or the Winnipeg Humane Society. The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. S. Henry and the staff at Concordia Hospital.
