JOYCE CARROLL Peacefully, on Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at the Vista Park Lodge, Joyce Carroll passed away at the age of 90 years. Joyce was predeceased by her parents Cora and Fred Carroll, sisters Marjorie, Harriet, brother George and brothers-in-law Art Johnson and Robert Langtry. She will be lovingly remembered by sisters Jean Johnson, Inez Langtry, Ruth (Don) Fennell, brothers Robert (Betty), Gerald (Patricia) and numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce worked for the Federal Goverment for 35 years, retiring in 1974. She was a longtime member of the St. Mark's Anglican Church and also the Wildwood Club. During her retirement she travelled extensively. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 22 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. An interment will take place at a later date in the family plot at Brookside Cemetery. A special thank you to the staff of Vista Park Lodge for their loving care of Joyce, especially Karen and Shelby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joyce to the St. Mark's Anglican Church, Vista Park Lodge, or charity of one's choice.
