TEENIE WEBER (nee SCHERBAIN) June 1, 1918 - December 19, 2007 Peacefully on December 19, 2007 Teenie passed away at Kildonan Personal Care Center. Survived by daughter Beverley (Bill) McMullan, son Gordon Weber (Heather). Grandchildren, Lisa (John) Laudinsky, Corinne (Shawn) Ullman, Kelly (Jason) Loster, Danney Green, Shannon Weber (Warren), Kyle McAuley-Weber. Great-grandchildren, Jonathon and Samantha Laudinksy, Quintin Ullman. Mom was predeceased by her husband Otto, daughter Judy Green, and all her siblings. Mom was a hard worker and care giver to our father, her sister Corinne as well as caring for all her grandchildren. She was a great seamstress, knitter, and cook. She loved gardening and spending time at Brereton Lake. She was a passionate card player always looking for a partner for Canasta. In her younger years you could find Teenie speed skating at a nearby rink. The family expresses many thanks to the Medical and Nursing staff at Kildonan Personal Care Center for their kindness and care to Teenie during her time there. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m., at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Teenie's Memory to Cancer Care Manitoba, The Movement Centre of Manitoba, Manitoba Lung Association, CNIB. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
