Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA MAJNUSZ It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Anna Majnusz on Tuesday, December 18, 2007. She leaves to mourn her passing her two sons, Gerald (Linda), Leslie (Donna) and granddaughter Tanya; one brother in Poland; numerous nieces and nephews both in Canada and in Poland. Anna immigrated to Canada in 1948. She met her beloved Miroslaw (Morris) and they married in 1950. Early in their marriage, they moved to Kitamat, BC where Gerald was born December 18, 1958. Soon after they moved back to Winnipeg to be with family. In 2003, Anna lost Morris, yet continued to live a full and busy life. She got her driver's license at 78 years of age, enjoyed her shopping trips and Bingo nights. This last year provided Anna with many medical challenges. She faced these with her usual determination and courage. She always kept her spirits high and forged on. The family would like to thank her neighbours and friends, Helena and Bruno, Izabela and Sylwesctr and most especially, Pauline, who was by Anna's side until the very end. The family would also like to thank Anna's Homecare nurse, Mary-Anne and the staff and doctors on the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Ward. Funeral mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 21 at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating. Viewing will take place one half hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in Anna's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
