WESLEY PLETT On Tuesday, December 18, 2007, after a lengthy battle with cancer, Wes Plett, 55, of Blumenort, passed away at the Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, MB, surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife Pat, sons, Corey (Daphne), grandchildren, Lucas and Seth; Russel (Amy), grandchildren, Jude and Kenya; Kevin (Laurel), grandchild Aaron; Jerald (Brittany). He is also survived by his mother Elda and siblings, Dianne (Ron) Reimer, Earl (Audrey), James (Maryann) and Darlene (Kelly) Penner, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Benny P. Plett in 1982. Wes was involved with Southeast Farm Equipment since 1977 and became a partner in the business in 1979. A special thank you to Dr. Reimer and the nursing staff at Bethesda Hospital for their compassionate care. Viewing will be held Friday, December 21 at 7:00 p.m., with a devotional to follow, at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, MB. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 22 at 10:30 a.m. at the Evangelical Mennonite Church, Blumenort, MB, with interment to follow at the Blumenort EMC Cemetery.
