Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I am 6 years too late but I feel compelled to write a short note. Chris Ball was my supervisor back in the early 1980s when I worked for the Government of the Northwest Territories in Rankin Inlet. When I first met Chris, I thought that she was an old fuddy duddy but that was a product of youthful impertinence coupled with ignorance. Shortly before I left her employ to move on to another situation, I got to know Chris on a different level and to my delight, I came to realize that not only was she NOT an old fuddy duddy but she was a wonderful, warm and generous person with a keen sense of humour and who had led a fascinating life. I kept in touch with Chris for several years after my departure, but eventually lost touch with her. I have many regrets in life; as we all do. One of them, was losing touch with my old friend. She was truly a wonderful and interesting person. Rest in peace Chris. You will not be forgotten. - Posted by: Robert (Former Employee) on: Jul 17, 2013
