GERALD ROBERT HOWARD OWENS On December 21, 2007 at Health Sciences Centre, Gerald Robert Howard Owens, beloved husband of Joyce Owens of Winnipeg, Manitoba died at the age of 64 years. Besides his wife, he is lovingly remembered by son Christopher D. (Shawna) of Minnedosa, MB; daughters, Dawn Marie of Minnedosa, MB, Theresa of Winnipeg, MB and Rita of Airdrie, AB; and nine grand-children. Gerald is also survived by sisters, Shirley Merke of Calgary, AB, Reta Owens (Norman Beatty) of Winnipeg, MB, Linda Cox ( Larry) of Killarney, MB, Marjorie (Bob) Oldford of Portage la Prairie, MB; brothers, Kenneth and John of Winnipeg, MB and William (Prudy) of Regina, SK; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gerald was predeceased by his parents Howard and Jessie Owens. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street with Robert Oldford officiating, with viewing prior to the service.
