Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTAMAYE YAGI Tamaye Yagi (nee Furutani) born July 5, 1919, slipped peacefully away surrounded by family on December 13, 2007, in Richmond, BC. She was predeceased by her husband Mitsuo, and her brothers Minoru, Isamu, Yoshio, Akira and her sister Mabel Otsuki. She is survived by her sisters Shizuko Kawata, Clara Mar and brother Don (Yutaka). She will be greatly missed by her children Marion Carmona, Jean Matsuda, MaxineYagi-Jego, Bryan Yagi, Linda Funk, her 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Tamaye was passionate for life. She was an avid gardener, bowler, dancer, knitter, card player, Marietta seamstress, and enjoyed real estate and investing. Those who met her were struck by her outgoing and vibrant nature and positive outlook on life. Tam loved good food, a good party, and a good laugh. A celebration of her life will be held in Winnipeg at a later date.
