WALTER ULIANOW Walter was born in Russia on May 7, 1921. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather on December 20, 2007. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Susan, daughters Joan Doerksen, Jackie Breland, Don Doerksen, Ross Doerksen, all of Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his daughter Beverly Ann Doerksen. Also left to mourn, his children Kathy and Ken Martins, Rita and David Green, all of California, as well as Wally Ulianow of Winnipeg. He will be missed by his grand-children Krista Fidler (David), their children Julia and Noah, Tannis Pratt (Kirby), their children Ryan, Meghan and Sydney. Walter loved the outdoors, especially fishing and swimming before and after retirement. He retired from Schneiders Company with many years of service. His favourite TV show was Little House on the Prairie. The family would like to thank all of the home care workers, Traci, Marisio and Greg for their loving care of Dad. We would also like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations can be make to CancerCare Manitoba. A memorial service to honour Dad's memory will take place on Monday, December 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Open Door, 137 Euclid Ave. Pastor Jake Froese will be officiating the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bill Dyck of Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr, Steinbach MB (204)326-6367. Dad is now safe in the Arms of Jesus. We will miss you.
