M. LENORE NICHOLSON With her daughter Pat, granddaughter Keri and Reg Cure by her side, Lenore peacefully passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at her residence at Concordia Hospital. Lenore was born the youngest of three girls to Ann and Sam Clark. She was born at home on Machray Avenue, January 20, 1922 during a blizzard. Lenore was predeceased by her husband Gordon (1976), her only son Jim (January 2006), her parents, sisters Dolly and Jo, and her son-in-law Jim Robbins (2001). Lenore is Survived by her daughters Pat Robbins, Lee Nicholson, granddaughters, Keri and Gary Powell, Kelly and Reg Cure and Caroline Nicholson. She was lucky enough to have five great-grandchildren, four girls and one boy, Melissa and Logan Powell, Breanne, Cassidy and Alexandra Cure. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews across Canada. In keeping with mom's wishes cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Monday, December 24, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue where mom will be interred with dad. The family would like to thank her former care givers on Meighen Bay. Connie G. Tess and most recently the wonderful staff at Concordia Place especially her nurse Karen. She was the happiest we have seen her in years and it was heartwarming to all of us. Thank you to her former doctor, Dr. D. Caners and her current Doctor, Dr. Paul Sawchuk.
