Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY NOAKES It is with sadness the family of Mary Noakes, (widow of Jim), announces her passing on December 14, 2007. She is survived by daughters, Diane Dawson (Gerry), Laurine Harmon (Bob) and son Darrell Noakes (Leta) and their family, by granddaughter Terri Lynne Dawson and her children, Lara, Aaron and Gillian, grandsons, Eric Dawson (Sarah) and son Tanner, Robin and Steven Harmon; niece Virginia Greening and family and nephew Ian Samuel (Beverly) and family; and family in Brandon and the United States. Mary was born in Theodore, SK, February 2, 1923, but resided in St. Vital for over 50 years. Her life centered on family and home. The family would like to thank the staff of Victoria Hospital for making her last hours comfortable, and the staff of the Maples Personal Care Home, where Mary resided since May 2004 for their care and concern. Cremation has taken place and Mary's wishes will be honoured and no service will be held. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to The Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Street, Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or the Alzheimer's Society, 10 - 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
