JERRY THOMAS COLLINS December 1, 1938 November 30, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Collins on November 30, 2007 at the Guelph General Hospital in Guelph, Ontario. Jerry is survived by his wife, Jane, his daughter Martha (grandchildren William, Jonathan, Rebecca and Adam) and his son David (grandchildren Taylor and Nicholas), sister Linda Boitson of Winnipeg, brother-in-law Don Kowalinski of Toronto, sister-in-law Joy Ann Perkins of Toronto and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jerry was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Norma, and by his sister, Carole Kowalinski. Jerry grew up in Winnipeg and joined the Canadian Air Force after graduation from school. He spent 10 years in the forces and then moved on to work for the North York Board of Education in Toronto as a computer analyst. He worked there until his retirement in 1998. Jerry was a kind, considerate and loving person. He loved to be with his grandchildren and took them on many camping trips. He enjoyed his home and was always puttering around in his yard. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life was held on December 5 in Kitchener at the Henry Walser Funeral Home in Kitchener.
