JEAN-LEON (JOHN) SEGUIER Peacefully, after a brief illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of John on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the St. Boniface hospital at the age of 58 years. Remaining to forever cherish John's memory are his beloved wife Diane; father Georges; brother Alain (Bernice); sister-in-law Helene; brother-in-law Philip (Pat) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Etiennette and two brothers Patrick and Michel. John was born in Beziers, France and moved to Canada at the age of ten where he resided in Winnipeg. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 27 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Mark Tarrant presiding. Diane would like to thank 7A South, ICU and the many nurses and doctors that cared for John during his illness as well as the Wheelchair Service; he loved working for you and all of his customers who gave him joy every day. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in John's memory to a charity of one's choice.
