MARGARET KLEEBAUM At the age of 98 and surrounded by her family, our Mom Margaret passed away peacefully at Oakview Place on Monday, December 24, 2007. Remaining to cherish her memory are her three children, Willis (Pierrette), Marlene (Alan), Elaine and daughter-in-law Gail; five grandchildren, Shawn (Rhonda), Trevor (Linda), Tracy (Michael), Roxanne (Thomas) and Karen (Joel); five great-grandchildren, Karrick, Sydney, Michael, Paige and James. She is also survived by one brother George (Elnora) and one sister-in-law Hanna. Mom was predeceased by her husband, our dad Paul, a son Norman, two sisters Annie and Emma and two brothers, Ed and Fred. A wonderful cook and baker, Margaret's natural milieu was the kitchen where she enjoyed preparing family and holiday dinners. She derived immense satisfaction from nurturing others through food and hospitality. Her passion for many years was quilting and crocheting, and her handiworks are being enjoyed by all her family and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 1311 Dakota Street, Winnipeg at 1:00 p.m. with viewing at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2007. A heartfelt and sincere thank you to the staff of 1East at Oakview Place for the wonderful and compassionate care they provided to our Mom during the last five years. If family and friends so desire, donations in her memory can be made to Faith Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or a charity of your choice. Safe in the arms of Jesus, Rest in Peace, Mom.
