DORIS MARKOWSKI Peacefully on Sunday, December 23, 2007, Doris Markowski passed away at the age of 92 years. Doris was born September 8, 1915 on a family farm at Gonor, MB. She married John Markowski in 1941. She was predeceased by John in 1985; son Glenn in 1989; daughter Bernice in 1995, three brothers and one sister. She will be sadly missed by her son-in-law Joe Horeczy; daughter-in-law Carolyn; six grandchildren, Jim, Patti (Brad), Brenda (Carmine), Joanne (Rob), Kyle and Lori; seven great-grandchildren, sister Kay Terry; brothers, Peter and Mike Oleksuik (Edna) and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 264 Donwood Dr. with viewing one half hour prior with Rev. Fr. G. Craig, OFM, Cap officiating. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, PO Box 2248, Stn.
