Millie was predeceased by her loving husband Wilfred (Willie), sisters Jessie, Irene, Ivy, Hazel, Joan, and brothers Harry and Jim. Millie leaves to mourn in her memory, daughter Linda and husband Aurele Talbot and son Grant and wife Paulette. She has been blessed by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; grandsons, Chris (Nina) sons Tristan, Braedan and Nolan; Kevin (Joanne) sons Mathew and Nathan; Glen (Joanne) daughters Jenelle, Brianna and Cassidy; Jason (Valerie); and granddaughters Jennifer, Stacey (friend Pat) and Jill (friend Ryan). She is also survived by sister-in-law Edna Haire. Millie was born in Oakville, MB on December 7, 1919 to Malcolm and Selina Shaw. Millie married Wilfred Lusignan in 1946, settling in the Altamont district and together farmed for 47 years. After Willie's passing in 1993, she moved to Somerset and in 2001 making her residence in the Somerset Manor. Millie enjoyed countless hours in her garden tending to her flowers. She also took great pleasure in taking rides to the farm with family. Much of Millie's time was spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grand-children that she loved very much. She played cards and loved to read. A service of remembrance will be held in the Notre Dame de la Nativite Catholic Church in Somerset on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon Alvin Jacobs officiating. Interment of the cremated remains will take place in the spring.
